About Us

Foxmarks is one of the most popular browser add-ons in the world with over 5 million downloads in its first two years, and hundreds of thousands of new downloads each month.

Our goal is to let you access your browser data from any device, anywhere at anytime.
Our browser add-on instantly syncs your browser data across your computers, keeps it safe with automated backups, and lets you access it online via any browser or even from your phone.

But that's not all.
We are hard at work analyzing over 300 million bookmarks managed by our systems to help users discover sites that are useful to them. By combining algorithmic search with community knowledge-sharing and the wisdom of crowds, our goal is to connect users with relevant content.

Foxmarks is a privately held startup founded by industry veteran Mitch Kapor. We are headquartered in a beautiful eco-friendly building in downtown San Francisco.
